Fundraising Auction – Close of the Festival

Featured

Come along to one of the most anticipated events of Sweet Streets, as we close the festival with our Fundraising Auction.

Help raise money for the future of Sweet Streets as well as the Collingwood Housing Estate Arts Community, and Anglicare Victoria – our chosen charities.

Featuring signed prints donated by Obey, Acorn and Josh Cleary, the Award Show murals by well-known local artists including Deb and Drewfunk, and a range of unique works created especially for the Charity Auction, by local and visiting artists, through the facilitation of the Collingwood Underground Artists hub – active throughout the three weeks of the festival.

We are also extremely lucky to present for auction, one half of a diptych by Mat Benote, US conceptual graffiti artist, and famous advocate of the ‘gifted’ art movement. The other half of this piece has been ‘gifted’ to famous New York museum, PS1- essentially making this unique diptych, a live conceptual art piece for one lucky bidder.

This is your chance to get a unique piece of art at a bargain price – as well as your last chance to view the Award exhibition at 1000 £ Bend.

Register your interest!

To pre-register to bid, please send our auction coordinator, Eleanor Brooker, your full name, email and mobile phone number and we’ll get back to you with your bidding number, where you can preview what’s on sale and where to collect your Sweet Streets bidding beacon. Email Eleanor rubyque@warpmail.net or give her a call 0404 847 643.
